Professional chopper for model making

The two stainless steel angle guides can be variably positioned and affixed to the right or the left of the cutting blade by means of knurled screws. When not being used, they can be affixed outside of the cutting area so that during other type work they will not get lost. The knurled screws can be set and loosened without the use of a tool.

The ruler as well can be attached to the work table by means of easily loosened knurled screws and can be turned around for the purpose of exposing either the inch or mm graduation. The maximum measurable distance going right and left is 150 mm.

Both cutting blades that are included with the product, 0.1 and 0.2 mm, can be quickly and easily exchanged, the choice of which will depend on the hardness of the material being cut. Soft materials like, for example, polystyrene rods or balsa wood or even 3 mm cardboard can be cut with the thin blade as easily as a hot knife through butter. The ice-hardened high quality blades hold their edge for a long period of time and can be turned and reversed up to 4 times before a new one must be introduced.
