The paper used to dress up the covers of these beautiful pocket or desk calendars is called Tsumugi, which is a matte, embossed Japanese paper. The structure of the paper is reminiscent of the irregular looking weave that results from a weaving process that uses yarns of different thicknesses (see the product photo). We carry this calendar in five different colours each of which comes in two sizes. Our supplier was very concerned with accomplishing, in his own works, “a very minimalist style of design” – and in that he truly succeeded. Each double side is pleasantly spacious and displays one week; the weekdays and months are only written in German; there are no further lines or sub-divisions; only the calendar week serves as a kind of page number in the right-hand corner. The calendars provide 37 x 85 mm writing space for each day in the small version and 60 x 150 mm in the large – both of which are more than adequate for necessary notations, etc. Overviews of the current and the coming year can be found in the front of the calendar along with an overview of each month of the current year with a column for each of those months. At the back of the calendar there are some empty pages for notes. And so you have it!
