The Hegner disc sander is a professional quality machine at a reasonable price. The machine is tested for dust reduction. The sanding discs are attached with a hook-and-loop system and are therefore easily removed.

Inner edges can be precisely sanded because the sanding table is very large and wraps around both sides of the disc sander. The exactly made mitre fence can be locked in place. There is a no-volt push button switch which insures that should the power fail the motor will not spring back into action when power is reestablished.
