The rotary cutter is used for cutting soft materials like cloth, leather, soft film and especially latex. Both round and straight cuts can be made successfully because the material being cut will not be dragged along as it would be with a regular knife. This cutter is not suitable for use on thick materials but does cut paper and thin hard films very well. Paper and thin films can be perforated by employing the perforation blade.
