These locking bead ties are probably the best known way to securely close up bags and sacks. The areas of use for closing, attaching and bundling are multitudinous, from the automobile and construction and packaging industries to agriculture and viniculture. Examples of use include making bundles out of numerous cables, wires or rods, bracing young trees in the garden, as a means of bundling up the garden hose and hanging it in place after the watering work is done or for attaching signs and labels. These ties are not a disposable product because they can be used over and over again. In contrast to more common ties, the row of beads allows these to be adjusted as required. The high quality polyethylene version that we produce in Germany has a special fastener which has two holes which adds security to the fastening and, in addition, provides a place for a loop for hanging purposes. The fastener beads prevent any slippage of the tie on the bundled material and the round shape of the tie means that there will be no sharp edges damaging the material within. To fasten the tie you feed the end through the first hole until a bead engages and then you take the remaining piece of the end and run it through the second hole in order to make the tie that much more secure or in order to make a loop for hanging purposes or for use as a handle. You can also string in a label with a hole onto the end before running it through the second hole. If you don’t use the second hole for fastening purposes it can of course serve as an eyelet for a hanger.
Cable ties in more lengths as well as all lengths in the colours black, blue, yellow, green; brown ties available up to 240 mm in length; lilac and orange are only available in 240 mm lengths. Each size must be ordered in at least 1,000 piece amounts for each colour and length chosen.
