Our packages of different types of paper, cardboards and films are differentiated by the way they are packaged:
The Handicrafts folder is a folder with 3 flaps that make up a pocket wherein the paper as well as any remainders can be stored and transported.
In the Handicrafts booklet the various paper types are stapled to one side so that they remain all together. You can cut out whatever size of paper you require; if you want to use the whole sheet you must accept the fact that there will be staple holes.
Handicrafts pads are glued on the one side and single sheets can be removed without causing any damage.
A hobby kit is a collection of loose sheets of paper which is sealed in a film package together with the cover sheet. For storage purposes, a folder should be used.
Please note that the product names listed in the kits and those of the paper contained in them will not always be identical to those that we use for the products in our range of goods which are sold by the sheet under the heading Paper/Cardboard. This follows from the fact that when choosing names even the large scale fabricators do not stay within the bounds of the accepted technical terminology.
At Modulor, however, we always try to name and describe a product in such a way that the difference between individual articles is immediately obvious. Glassine paper is therefore at Modulor a glassine paper even if many of our customers and suppliers are wont to talk about transparent paper when they are looking for or selling what is actually glassine paper.
