This board has a very matte surface so that placards made from it will not be reflective. It is approximately a half a millimetre thick and comes in differing versions. Along with the standard colours, the flourescent colours are particulary good for use in making signs that are hand written. The darker tones can be used in model making to represent streets or areas like roofs made of shale. In addition, poster board is suitable for crayon drawings, for handicrafts or for all kinds of decorations.
